Double Choc Chip Cookies

  • 150 grams self-raising flour
  • 25 grams cocoa powder
  • 110 grams butter
  • 75 grams soft dark brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp golden syrup
  • 110 grams chocolate chips (I used mini eggs)
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • Baking paper

  1. Pre-heat the oven to Gas Mark 6 (200°C) and line a baking tray with baking paper.
  2. Cream the butter and brown sugar together.
  3. Sieve the flour and the cocoa powder into the creamed butter and sugar.
  4. Stir in the syrup, chocolate and milk.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Place 10 spoonfuls of the mixture onto the baking tray, flatten them slightly.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
  8. Leave to cool before eating.
